Project Overview

A dental practice came to us after its outdoor air conditioning units had been stolen several times. Each theft meant new units, call-out costs and time without cooling. They asked us to design and fit extra security so it would not happen again.

The Challenge

The security had to be strong enough to stop thieves getting to the units, but it could not get in the way of how they work. Air conditioning units need air flowing around them, and engineers still need to get to them for servicing. The design had to do both.

Our Approach

We measured up on site and designed the security around the units and the space they sit in. Everything was fabricated in our Little Hulton workshop, then brought to site and fitted by our own team.

The install was a cold one, but the team got it done and left the units locked away and still working as they should.

The Result

The practice now has its air conditioning units secured behind solid steel, so they can stop worrying about the next theft and the cost that comes with it.
