Pipe Welding In Manchester

Our coded welders fabricate and weld pipework systems for industrial and process-critical applications, from our workshop in Little Hulton and on sites across the North West. New installations, system upgrades and urgent repairs.

On process pipework the weld is the weakest point by definition, and on a hygienic or pressurised system it is also the point that gets inspected. That is why the welders are coded and why the procedures are documented: a joint that cannot be evidenced is a joint that will be questioned.

What we do

  • TIG, MIG and stick welding by coded welders
  • Pipework fabrication in carbon steel, stainless steel and exotic alloys
  • Pipe spools, flanges, brackets and structural supports
  • Hygienic pipework for food, drink and pharmaceutical process lines
  • Industrial pipework for plantrooms, utilities and manufacturing
  • Site welding, modifications and emergency repairs

Coded welders

Coded means a welder has been tested against a procedure for a given material, thickness and position, and holds current certification for it. It is not a formality.

45° 6G

A coded joint in the 6G position on stainless pipe is a genuinely difficult piece of work, and the difference between someone who can do it and someone who cannot is the difference between a system that passes inspection and one that gets cut out.

Our welders are trained across multiple techniques and work to specification. Every weld is carried out to strict industry standards, documented, and signed off.

In the workshop or on your site

In the workshop

We fabricate pipe spools and assemblies in the workshop, where the conditions are controlled and the quality is easier to hold, then install on site.

On your site

Where work has to happen in place, we weld in situ.

For a lot of clients the useful part is that both are available from the same team. A spool fabricated here and a modification welded on site next week are the same people, working to the same procedures.

Where our pipework goes

  • Plantrooms and utilities
  • Food and drink production
  • Pharmaceutical facilities
  • Manufacturing plant
  • Infrastructure and public buildings

Urgent work

Breakdowns do not wait for a quote. If a line is down or a system is leaking, call rather than email and we will tell you honestly how quickly we can get someone to you. See site welding and repairs.

Common questions

Are your welders coded?

Yes, across TIG, MIG and stick, in carbon steel, stainless steel and exotic alloys. We can provide the certification for the procedure your job requires.

Can you weld stainless hygienic pipework?

Yes, including for food, drink and pharmaceutical process lines where the internal finish and the weld quality both matter.

Can you work on a live site around production?

Yes, including out of hours and around planned shutdowns. Tell us the window and we will work to it.

Do you do emergency repairs?

Yes. Planned work and last-minute repairs both.

Can you fabricate spools to our drawings and deliver them?

Yes, supply only if that suits, or fabricate and install.
