A fabrication workshop in Little Hulton, Manchester

About Us

Ironworx Engineering was set up in 2023. The workshop is on Highfield Road in Little Hulton, and it was built around modern kit rather than inherited from anyone: CNC cutting, a Transfluid mandrel tube bender, welding bays and jig tables laid out so a job moves through in one direction.

Our fabricators bring decades of combined experience in structural and architectural steelwork. What is new is the company, not the people, and it means we have no legacy habits to defend. If there is a better way to detail a connection or hold a tolerance, we use it.

What we do

We fabricate in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, and we install what we make.

That covers:

Why contractors use us

  • Everything in house Drawings, cutting, bending, welding, finishing and installation. Nothing is subcontracted, so nothing gets lost between trades and the programme stays in one pair of hands.
  • CE marked to BS EN 1090 Beams, columns, secondary steelwork, mezzanines and frames, all certified and documented.
  • Coded welders TIG, MIG and stick, working to specification in carbon steel, stainless steel and exotic alloys.
  • Made to fit We survey before we draw. Steel that arrives ten millimetres out does not cost you a beam, it costs you the programme.
